Done at the same sessions with Lee Morgan, Lou Donaldson, Tina Brooks and Curtis Fuller and Art Blakey, the group roars through two Charlie Parker tunes, a standard, a ballad and a blues. On CD for the first time in the original album sequence with one bonus track, the package includes previously unpublished photos from the actual sessions. |
