Search Tips/Finding What You Want Quickly

Ok, this is where the fun starts. Quick searchs in a variety of different means is right at your finger tips.

The main entry box is where you type in the artist, title or label that you are looking for. One note on the label, instead of typing in the full name of the label (like Capitol Records) you need to check out our Label Abbreviations where we have a three letter abbreviation for each label. To reference these abbreviations look at the Options heading below all of the search criteria.

Next you will see a drop down list for the Genre/Category. This allows you to narrow down your search to a specific type of music/product. Yes we do sell DVDs, Videos and Blank Tapes. Our website allows you to list out all of our selections in any one category by leaving the main entry box empty, unlike many other websites which make you enter in something to look for. Media Type is your next selection option. This allow you to search for only one specific type, be it your normal Compact Disc CD, DVD, or Video. It defaults to CD Compact Disc when you first enter our site. You can also set it to All Types for your search and this will bring back titles in all available formats.

One nice feature we have implemented is a sort option for your search results. You can sort your search results in any of the following means (artist, title, media type, release date or price.)

Lastly you can search for only recent releases, future releases or all releases. You will note that anytime you visit our site for the first time, we display all of the recent releases for all genres so you can keep up to date on the current music scene.
