Juris gives us eleven performances including a superb solo rendition of Bill Evans' "Time Remembered", Django's "Nuages", and the self-composed title tune "Songbook". Besides working regularly with Dave Liebman and working under his own name, Juris has imparted his considerable knowledge of jazz guitar history to students at the Manhattan School of Music. |
