Ambrose's debut recording as a leader finds him in sparse buy very good company allowing him to showcase an amazing talent on the framework of original and classic compositions. A native of Washington DC, Ambrose moved to New York in 1991 to study with Dick Oatts (SCCD 31422, 31458). He has recorded previously as a member of Michael Leonhart's Quartet on the Sunnyside label. |
