Bassist Ron McClure as a sideman has an impressive career record which reads like Who's Who in Jazz including Thelomious Monk, Wynton Kelly, Keith Jarrett, Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, Herbie Mann among others since his professional debut in the early 60s.
A few years ago Ron started to record leader albums for SteepleChase. And as the leader he always surrounds himself with the very best either from the established or from the up-and-coming generation.
