Review 1
Idrees Sulieman (b. August 7, 1923 in St. Petersburg, FL.) is one of the first to adopt the bebop style in trumpet playing. Sulieman played and recorded with Thelonious Monk, Cab Calloway, Count Basie, Lionel Hampton, Dizzy Gillespie to mention a few.
"...the whole album is an excellent demonstration of that special kind of gentle but sparkily swinging bebop that is Sulieman's trademark..."
