 Review 1
Trumpeter, composer/arranger Walrath (b. January 17, 1934 in Dallas) has co-led group Change with Gary Peacock in the late 60s and later joined Charles Mingus's band (1974 - 8)for which he also worked as arranger. From the 80s he formed his own group and toured Europe extensively.
Walrath is acclaimed for his fluent and exciting sound which has "brass's authentic ring and bite" (The Penguin Guide To JAZZ).
