It is incredible that Jackie and Dexter had never recorded together before this date, even though both of them were under Blue Note contract in the 60s. But at last the meeting of the two jazz giants took place in the summer of 1973 at Jazzhus Montmartre in Copenhagen. The magnificent front line of two hard blowing saxes with the "grooving rhythm section" produced "inventive, stimulating JAZZ".
