 Review 1
Eighteen year old pianist and composer William Menefield began performing on violin at the age of five. He soon switched to cello and was accepted into the studio of Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra cellist Norman Johns with whom he continues to study. He began playing piano at age ten and other than some beginning lessons, he is primarily self taught. While early in his musical career,he has already won numerous awards including being the youngest recipient of the Applause Magazine Imagemaker Award.

His debut recording, Big Will Leaps In is fresh, honest and exhilarating. Of the ten cuts on this album, there are four originals and six jazz classics including a solo rendition of Misty. William is destined for musical greatness and with Big Will Leaps In he is off to a powerful start.
